Open Day at The Patch - Saturday April 7 - from 2pm till 5pm
We're still working on the program, but it should include several garden demonstrations (worm farm, wicking beds), a scavenger hunt, stalls for community groups, face painting, sausage sizzle, afternoon tea, water critters (find what's in the dam), learn about bees, tai chi demo, and lots more!
We'll be advertising our program of events in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for flyers around town, visit the Tucker Patch website, or listen to the Tucker Patch radio show (see below) for more information as it comes to hand.
We do need to make sure the site is in good order, and as there are currently lots of weeds (due to the rain and the sun), we hope everyone will come and help out at some time between now and then.
Pat will be in the garden every Thursday from 7:30 till 10am and invites everyone to come and join her!
As well, we will have a working bee once a month - Thursday 8/2, 7.30 am onwards; Thursday 8/3, 7.30am onwards; and finally Thursday 5/4, 7.30am onwards.
Bring a hat, a bottle of water and some gardening gloves
